Script

[Setting: a kitchen, late. Mug of tea in hand. The conversation has been going for a while; we're catching it mid-sentence.]

"...and the worst part is — and I know this sounds stupid — the worst part is I don't even think you knew."

(beat)

"Did you?"

(soft, not accusing)

"I'm not asking to be cruel. I just want to know if I was the only person who noticed I was disappearing."

The mug goes down. Not slammed. Set.

"Can I ask you something? And you have to be honest. Like — actually honest."

(waits for nod)

"Did you ever think about it. Us. Like — really think about it."

Submit interest

The writer reviews each submission. A short pitch and a 15–30 second voice sample help a lot.
